RenCat's ( vision is to be a leader in the field of ammonia conversion to hydrogen. The short-term objective for RenCat is to provide clean and cost-effective power supply to telecom towers around the Globe which are placed "off grid". On the longer run and a wider business perspective it is RenCat's vision to become a technology leader in the field of ammonia conversion to hydrogen, both for energy production or industrial applications.

We are looking for a part time (10-15 hours a week with possibility of more hours during semester breaks) student employee to contribute to the development of the second generation of our ammonia to hydrogen generation technology, RenGen™. The main task will be to synthesize and test catalysts mainly for ammonia to hydrogen generation and, based on the student's background, perform simulations for the catalytic reactors.

Education and experience:

Bachelor in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Technical Physics or similar

You are in the first or second year of your Master's

Have experience of working in the lab with wet chemistry and chemical synthesis

Knowledge in data acquisition software and FEM simulations is a plus

Previous experience in catalyst testing is a plus

Knowledge in heterogeneous catalysis is a plus


Part of the development work will be in tight collaboration with Alfa Laval Sweden and DTU Physics.
